NYC Transit Strike Day 2

The line for the Long Island Railroad at the Kew Gardens station. This line extended at least two city blocks in length. Sub-freezing temperatures only added to the fun. My sympathy for the union (what little I had of it to begin with) is wearing quite thin. From the sounds of my fellow commuters, that sentiment is common.

As if life in NYC wasn't sufficiently irritating

Now we have the joy of an illegal subway strike to add to the usual fun. And if that wasn't enough on its own, the weather calls for freezing rain on Friday, the first day of the strike. We may yet avoid this but it doesn't look very good so far.
