Huge Solidarity with Israel rally at the UN today

Hard to estimate numbers accurately but clearly well into the thousands. (Officially estimated at 35,000. 15,000 more than expected) Dag Hammarskjold Plaza was filled from end to end and a large crowd had gathered on the other side of Second Avenue. Eli Wiesel and John Bolton spoke along with the wife of one of the captured soldiers. Members of the crowd were demanding the release of the soldiers kidnapped by the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist groups, a lot of loud criticism of Mad Mahmoud, Iran's lunatic president was to be heard. In addition, the general feeling was apparent that when it comes to Israel, whatever the U.N. was or was supposed to be, it isn't. Here's hoping that the world is listening. The prospect of a nuclear armed Iran, and by extension its proxy terrorist armies, is serious trouble.

Sadly, the UN gave the Iranian madman a big round of applause. Even though he's outwardly calling for Armegeddon to usher in the 12th successor to Mohammed, which can only occur after the great Satan is defeated.

Very frightening.
