Nice day for a bike ride :)

Spent Sunday morning in Forest Park with the kids. Elizabeth has really taken to her new bike. And my son, Jordan, got a real surprise for his sister's birthday. His uncle bought him an un-birthday present, a new bike too. Good timing as his old one was getting much too small.

Forest Park is one of NYC's beautiful old parks. It's pretty big and very well maintained. It has a golf course, baseball diamonds, a band shell and both bicycle and hiking trails along with the usual playgrounds and jungle gyms. My own parents used to bring me here when I was a kid. It feels good to bring my kids here too.
